A Second Degree in Computer Science from a World-Class University... in Only Two Years

The Bachelor of Computer Science degree (Integrated Computer Science program), or simply "BCS", is a unique, 20-month, second degree program. It is designed for university graduates possessing a bachelor's degree in another field, and who are interested in either: (a) making a career transition into information technology, or (b) combining their own field with computer science.

CS Prof Dr. Gail Murphy

Dr. Murphy's research and teaching area of expertise is software engineering.

As part of the Software Practices Laboratory, her research focuses on developing methods and tools to help software developers manage, evolve and collaborate on the structure of the systems they are developing at design time and in source code.

Admission to 2nd Year: To be admitted to the Computer Science Honours Program in second year, you must have completed at least 30 credits with an average of 76% or greater in your first year.
