Innovating Differently - Women, Entrepreneurship, and Technology

We welcome UBC students to join 16 trail-blazing women, from Vancouver’s technology, startup & entrepreneurial communities for a dynamic panel conversation on Innovating Differently: Women, Entrepreneurship, and Technology.  Four “mini-panels” will explore focus topics, including:

1) Innovating Differently: Why women are critical to innovation, engineering and technology
2) Launching a Start-Up: Lessons Learned from Successes and Failures

The Canadian Celebration of Women in Computing (CAN-CWiC) 2016 will unite technical women from across Canada for networking, mentoring and planning for Canada's technical future.  The conference will inspire women at all points in their careers - from first year students to senior technical women with years of industrial experience.   The career fair will provide an excellent opportunity for companies to recruit technical talent from across Canada.
