Industry Panel and Tri-mentoring Wrap Up Event

This year’s panel theme is " Staying Ahead in a Fast Changing World: How to Effectively Adapt and Keep Up with Ever-Changing Tech Trends ". Technological trends change so rapidly these days that it is often hard to keep up and identify 'hot and in-demand' languages, platforms and technological skills. This fast-changing reality imposes major challenges on professionals in terms of career path, on students who try to acquire practical skills, and on universities which aim to design effective degree programs.

The panel will consist of 6 experienced industry professionals who have seen various cycles of tech changes and they will be commenting on/responding to student questions on topics such as:

1. What is the biggest surprise that you have encountered so far in your career in terms of technological changes?
2.  What do you do to embrace and keep up with these new trends?
3. What is one key piece of advice you would give to your junior employees (and our students) on how they could prepare themselves for this rapidly changing technology environment?
