Computer Science Professor Laks Lakshmanan receives 2018 IEEE DSAA Best Research Paper Award

UBC Computer Science Professor Laks Lakshmanan, together with his colleagues at Laboratorie d'informatique de Grenoble Behrooz Omidvar-Tehrani and Sihem Amer-Yahia, receive the 2018 IEEE Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics (DSAA)Best Research Paper Award.  The title of the paper is 'Cohort Representation and Exploration' and the award was given out in October, 2018, in Turin, Italy.  You can find the full paper here.
