The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Junior Sales Solutions Engineer to join our in-house team in Richmond, BC. This role is ideal for individuals aiming to build a career in B2B sales within the wireless telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will be action-oriented, technically curious, and eager to learn. For the right candidate, Star Solutions will provide coaching and training.
What You Will Do

Support the sales team in preparing proposals and addressing technical questions from customers

Present infrastructure solutions and demonstrate how our products meet customer business needs

Review and contribute to technical and commercial proposals (e.g., RFIs, RFPs)

Assist customers in developing short- and long-term technical and business goals

Provide feedback from customer interactions to Product Management and Customer Support

Participate in customer calls and on-site visits (travel required; valid passport needed)

Explore new solution areas and evaluate potential product integrations
Who You Are
-
Experience in a pre-sales role at a technology provider, preferably in wireless telecom

Knowledge of IP networking; experience in telecom or wireless tech is an asset

Strong communication and computer skills, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Ability to translate customer requirements into technical and business solutions

Familiarity with graphics and diagram tools (e.g., Visio, Photoshop)

Technical post-secondary education or equivalent preferred

Willing to learn and receive in-house training on mobile network technologies and tools
