Event Information

UBC Technical Career Fair (TCF) is an annual event where high tech companies come to the Vancouver Point Grey campus to meet and recruit UBC students - Undergraduates, Masters and PhD alike. Companies come to recruit the bright, young minds for part-time, co-op, internship and full-time employment opportunities. TCF takes place in late January/early February each year. Company registration for participation begins in October/November the previous year.

Other UBC-based options where you can recruit and promote your company's technical opportunities for students and new graduates include:

Career Centre
They oversee the central UBC job postings system:  CareersOnline (available at no charge to employers) and can also arrange employer information sessions.

Science Co-op Programs

The Science Co-op Program has 3000+ students available for full-time work for 4, 8, 12 or 16 months. Co-op students are screened and coached before they are sent to a workplace. Science Co-op Program have students in all science disciplines including those in Computer Science, Statistics, Cognitive Systems, and Engineering Physics.

Applied Science (Engineering) Co-op Program

The Applied Science (Engineer) Co-op Program has 3400+ co-op students from 14 engineering and architecture disciplines. Students are available for 4, 8, 12 or 16 months. Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) students have additional training in hardware, while Computer Science students focus on software. 

Computer Science Department's Job Posting Hub for Students and New Grad

To target Computer Science students, companies with volunteer, part-time or full-time job opportunities can post directly with the Computer Science Department.
