CSGSA Grad Student Orientation

Welcome to Computer Science, grad students!
Please register for this orientation section and state your dietary preference.
 

Schedule of the Day (subject to minor tweaks):

8:30-9:25: Breakfast

9:25-10: Intros from dept and CSGSA
10-11: Short talks by various individuals from the dept.
11-12:30: Scavenger Hunt 

12:30-2: Lunch

2-2:50: Presentation and Q&A on MSC / PhD+PhD Track programs
approx 3-4 “CS Idol”: Talks from various research labs – all short and hopefully entertaining!

4-4:30: Coffee Break 

4:30-5:30: (approx.) CSGSA take over to chat with students without faculty (e.g. about their course recommendations)

*The time 8 am-8 pm shown is the reserved time of the room and the orientation day will start at 8:30 am and end at approx. 5:30 pm
