Abstract:
There have been many changes in the tools and techniques of software development over the last several decades. Is EDD just another fad of the hour or a more fundamental shift in the way software will be built in the future? Join Sasa Djolic as he talks about what EDD is and recounts lessons learned from building a ridesharing app following EDD principles. We will talk about why you might want to follow EDD and will explore several EDD design patterns. If you’re interested in any of the following topics, you will find this talk interesting: event-driven architectures, eventsourcing, CQRS, Actors, statecharts, DDD
