CS Undergraduate Student Chris Yoon Receives CRA Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Honourable Mention

UBC Computer Science student Chris Yoon received an honourable mention in the 2019 CRA Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award for his research on privacy and security in distributed machine learning with Dr. Ivan Beschastnikh. Chris is a 4th year student in the computer science honours program. He is currently working towards his honours thesis on the generalizability of medical imaging applications with Dr. Rafeef Garbi. His research interests are in security, privacy, and robustness of machine learning with applications in healthcare.
