UBC CS Student Beriwan Ravandi Named Quip Diversity Scholar

Computer Science student Beriwan Ravandi is named a 2018 Quip Diversity Scholar. The scholarship goes to individuals across North America who demonstrate incredible grit and a strong commitment to improving inclusivity and promoting diversity within technology and beyond.

Beriwan is a third-year Computer Science student currently interning at Hootsuite.  She has been a volunteer for the GIRLsmarts4tech program, and is also an active member of the Computer Science Student Development Committee, the Committee for Outreach, Diversity, and Equity (CODE), as well as the Computer Science Student Society.
