Undergrad Students can work as TAs for first and second-year courses.

Students interested in employment opportunities outside of the department should visit the Co-op, Jobs, Career Page. There are a variety of Computer Science-related positions posted there, both for students and for new graduates.

Undergraduate Positions with the Department

Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Positions - Winter and Summer Sessions

Each term the Department hires undergraduate TAs to mark assignments and assist with scheduled undergraduate labs. To apply, fill out the online application.

Summer Research Internships - NSERC USRAs

Each summer the Department hires undergraduate students to participate in research projects in various computer science labs. The positions are usually available to 3rd and 4th year students with a strong academic record and a keen interest in research. Watch for in-class announcements and email messages from the Department in January for more details and deadlines. Summer Curriculum Development Projects

Students can be hired to participate in a variety of curriculum development projects, including webpage authoring and course development. To apply, fill out an application at the Department Office or online.
