Women in CS Tech Crawl with SAP & Amazon

You’re invited to a Tech Crawl hosted by SAP and Amazon. This event is open to all first and second year women and non-binary identifying students to meet CS alumni and industry professionals and to learn about the Vancouver tech industry

The event will start at SAP with a panel of professionals in various roles to talk to students about their career trajectories and answer any questions you have. 

After the panel students are invited to walk to “The POST”, Amazon’s new building in downtown Vancouver for a tour of the building followed by a speed mentoring session. During the speed mentoring students will have two 20 minutes sessions to chat with a mentor at Amazon.

Note: All students need to check in at Amazon reception and will need to present a Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, BCID or passport) to verify their identity and they will have a photo taken which will be printed on their paper visitor badge. Upon check-in the students will be paired with their escort who will be their guide during the visit.

3:00 - 3:15 PM: Students arrive at SAP (910 Mainland St.) to check in
3:15-4.15 PM: Panel and Q&A at SAP
4:15 - 4:30 PM: Students will walk (15 mins) to Amazon
4:30 PM – 5:15 PM: Sign in at Amazon Reception YVR26 The POST building and building tour
5:15 PM – 6:00 PM: Speed Mentoring and networking session
