ABSTRACT:
UBC has set aggressive targets for reducing the generation of GHG
emissions on the Point Grey Campus. Achieving these targets requires
a unique collaboration between UBC Operations, Researchers and
Partners. Further, by utilizing UBC's unique characteristics, it will
become the place to demonstrate these solutions at the scale of a
small city. The presentation describes this Campus as a Living Lab
initiative, and will provide examples of current initiatives and those
planned for the future. The opportunity for researcher and student
involvement will be highlighted.
