Overview

We develop and use cutting-edge computational approaches to study biological systems across multiple scales–from molecules to cells, tissues to organs, and microbiomes to human populations. By integrating machine learning, algorithm design, and high-performance computing with rich biomedical data sources–including genomics and electronic health records, single-cell genomics, and molecular interactions, we address key questions in cancer genomics, neuroscience, immunology and allergic diseases, molecular computing, and precision medicine. A major goal of our work is to deepen the understanding of both basic and disease biology, ultimately contributing to improved diagnosis, prevention, and the development of novel treatments for human diseases.
