Shinmin received the BS degree in biomechatronics engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan. She is a psychology graduate student at NTU, and currently being an exchange student at UBC. At SPIN, she is a member of the emotion modeling group with Laura Cang and Rubia Guerra.
