With the rise of online collaboration, we’ve witnessed an increase in what’s commonly known as “zoom fatigue.” This phenomenon is characterized by reduced satisfaction, creativity, and energy during virtual meetings. To tackle this challenge, we’ve explored Synchrobots – specially designed robots aimed at enhancing group connectedness by channeling human biophysiology. These robots physically translate their partner’s heart rate, to facilitate a deeper connection. We attempt to study relatiion between such haptic interactions and people’s perception of the collaboration.
