Analyzing a Decade of Affective Haptics Research

In this project, we took a deep dive into affective haptics research from the last decade aiming to anlayse applied research build on the bi-directional connection between touch and emotions. We conducted a scoping review and a conceptual analysis to understand the technological development in the area. This process not only yielded valuable insights but also shed light on the challenges we face in this field. Moving ahead, our aim is to build on this foundation, working towards new discoveries in affective haptic research. Our project findings is published at CHI 2023, and dataset is released openly for people to draw further insights.
