Mark Crowley is a PhD candidate at UBC and the departmental TA Training Coordinator.

I have a passion for teaching and learning in equal measure. Thats why a significant part of my time as a graduate student is being devoted to improving my teaching skills and the experience of education in CS and at UBC in general. I have been a teaching assistant (TA) for many different courses, taught one full summer course (cs211) and have enjoyed all of it. I also have planned and acquired funding for the departmental Teaching Assistant Training program for the past three years.

Take a look at the links on the right for some references and programming advice I have put together over the years and information about Teaching Assistants in the computer science department.
