---++Description

A wide class of human motions involve neither walking nor standing still
like a statue. Postural adjustments can be found abundance in real motions,
and often involves shifting the weight between feet or a small-scale repositioning
of the feet. This can be in support of a secondary task, or simply part
of the natural tendency to never fully stop moving. How can we simulate
such motions?  This project is about developing control strategies for
such motions and comparing them side-by-side with real video footage
of the similar motions that people perform.  Simple in-place dancing, i.e, not
ballroom dancing, waltzing, or salsa) is also within the
scope of this project, as it involves body movement without large
displacements of the feet.
