---++ BETA Meeting: 2008.01.07

   * *Printer*.
      * *David Kirkpatrick* will ask Dave Brent about the status of the new printer purchase.

   * *Web pages*.  The Beta Lab web pages need to be updated.  Piam worked on looks (but this was never implemented) not content.  Let's focus on content (Holger Hoos). Lab Wiki is up to date (Dave Tompkins).  The People page is up to date (Viann Chan).
      * People: *Dave Tompkins* will update the People page when the seating plan changes.
      * Projects: Students should create and maintain their project pages.  Advisors should migrate Project pages to a more permanent location when necessary (e.g. when a student graduates) or convenient. 
      * Publications: *Chris Fawcett* will collect members' publication lists and update the Publications page (after January).

   * *Dilapidated computers*.  Is the lab looking too much like a storage room for ancient computers?

   * *Locks on Cabinets*.  *Dave Tompkins* will send a message to the Space Committee and get locks and keys.  Evelyn Fong will hold a copy of every key.

   * *Poster Gallery*.  *Hosna Jabbari* with help from *Holger Hoos* will set up a Poster Gallery page, linked-to from somewhere on the Beta Lab web pages.

   * *Touch Screen*.  *Will Evans* will try to get the touch screen feature of the plasma display working.
