How does this matrix work?

Once you've played a game, insert a W (for win) or L (for loss) in the appropriate row and column.

A player's score will be summed along a row: the W/L in row x, column y is attributed to the player in row x.

For example, for players A, B, C, where A has won over B...

  A B C
A - W
B L -
C     -

Now, C has won over B, and A over C...

  A B C
A - W W
B L - L
C L W -

I (Guillaume) bought a chess clock this summer and it's in my office (CICSR 191) with my chess set. I'd be happy to lend it to fellow chess enthousiasts who want to use it, but I just don't want to lose track of the clock, to have it borrowed by some anonymous player who then forgets where to put it back. These things are a total rip off, considering that you can get toy watches in cereal boxes whose mechanism/computer are rougly equivalent.
