This applet demonstrates a simple game. It isn't designed to be general or reusable.

This program gives core of the simulation. The GUI is in SGameGUI.java. The environemnt code is at SGameEnv.java. The function-approximation controller is at SGameFAController.java the features used by that controller are defined at SGameFeatureSet.java.

Method Detail

featureValues

public double[] featureValues(int x,
                              int y,
                              int prize,
                              boolean dam,
                              int act)

Returns the feature values for a state action pair.

The state is made up of:

• x the x-position of the agent
• y the y-position of the agent
• prize the location of the prize, in range 0 to 4, where 4 means no prize
• dam is true when the agent is damaged

The actions defined by act are

• 0 is up
• 1 is right
• 2 is down
• 3 is left
