UDLS

Between 1949 and 1990, when Germany was separated, for many East Germans the desire for freedom became so strong that they were willing to risk their lives to cross the heavily guarded border. In this UDLS we will learn more about reasons and common practices of escaping as well as six of the most dramatic escapes.
