Hi all, this will be my 12th and final UDLS talk (I graduate next month). Unlike my previous talks, this one will be autobiographical, at times candid, and potentially of interest whether you are considering the PhD route, at the early stages of your PhD, or if you are just curious as to what my experience was like. Encompassing my MSc (2009-11) and my PhD (2011-16), I will present a series of hand-drawn charts that I will use to discuss several themes: dealing with anxiety and existential crises, reading and writing, public speaking, interning, money, traveling, staying healthy, etc…
