Ever wonder whether there are other sports out there than ice hockey? Have you ever awakened from a bad dream thinking that just maybe curling is not a world phenomenon? If so, prepare to get your mind blown. In this week’s UDLS we will be focusing on one of the most exciting and most watchable sports out there, team handball. Handball is huge in Europe for a good reason, and now you can too! [sic]. We will look at the basic rules and how to play handball. Then we will look at highlights from some of the best players out there with a special focus on the amazing Icelandic national team. We will conclude by looking at other nations. What countries are the best and why? Who are the villains? The veins are already throbbing in my head.
