I will provide a few highlight experiments from the field of psychoneuroimmunology. I am going to give a short summary for those that don’t know much about neuroscience, psychology or immunology. I will cover a few studies, including a few from local UBC professors. Can you make a rat die from just sugar water? Can you boost your immune response with pictures? Can the concentration of a single molecule in your blood predict your childhood environment? Does a fighting spirit beat cancer? I will attempt to answer these questions by summarizing a few interesting studies..
