As grad students, we hear about all these awesome frameworks and design patterns used in industry, such as the Spring Framework. Dependency Injection, Inversion of Control, and Lightweight Containers. But we’re so busy with classes, research, TAing, and having some semblance of a social life, that we seldom get to look at these technologies that industry finds so important on resumes. In this 30 minute presentation, you’ll get a quick overview of these technologies and how they radically increase code reuse, modularity, and testability.
