I graduated as a PhD from the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia, where I was supervised by Professors Raymond Ng (primary) and Anne Condon (co). I was a research assistant of the Data Management and Mining Lab, and was also affiliated with the Algorithms Lab (Beta-Lab) of the CS department. My research interests lie in the intersection between machine learning and bio/medical-informatics.
