UBC Open House Demo Session

March 7, 2012, ~5pm – 8pm

University of British Columbia

 

Following the Haptics Symposium closing on March 7, the conference attendees are invited to an open house demonstration of related research at the University of British Columbia, of scientific research of likely interest to haptics practitioners. Participation in the event is free, but advance registration is required.

On Display: Eight open labs will represent work from three departments with more than 30 demos, housed in three interconnected buildings, all part of UBC’s Institute for Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems (ICICS). A detailed list of demos is provided below.

Logistics: Bus transport is provided from/to the conference venue (about 20 minutes each way). Attendees may also take cabs if preferred (but be aware that it may be harder to get a cab from UBC in the evening).
