There are 29 non-optional readings scheduled during the term. You must submit 25 paper critiques in total (4 freebies ove the term). These critiques are worth a total of 15% of your final grade.
For each assigned reading, answer the following questions:
What is the main point (thesis) of the paper?
What is one weakness of the paper?
What is one strength of the paper?
What is one way that the paper relates to other papers we've read in class or other research/work that you are familiar with?
What will you take away from this paper with respect to your own research?
Answer each question with at most a paragraph. Often a couple of sentences will suffice. The goal is to have short, crisp answers. Maximum one page (one side).
Submit your typewritten answers to these questions in hardcopy at the outset of each class (or before if you are unable to attend). The assignment will not be accepted late.
