We can share files under =/ubc/cs/research/condon/people/= or =/ubc/cs/research/condon/share/projects/=. You must follow a couple of steps to ensure the group has proper read/write and execute access. Suppose you want to share the directory =foo=. <verbatim> # recursively change group find foo -name "*" -exec chgrp ac-group {} \; # recursively change permission of files find foo -type f -exec chmod g+rw {} \; # recursively change permission of directories find foo -type d -exec chmod 770 {} \; </verbatim> *NOTE*: You must also make sure that the group has read and execute privileges for all parent directories containing =foo=. -- Main.cthachuk - 04 Aug 2010
