• Code CIRS Interactive Workspace meeting from July 5th using the artifact-based coding scheme.
• Combining the coding schemes from the CSCW research (artifact based) and the Liston Framework (task based). High-level goal is to isolate artifacts which are bogging down the meeting process, particularly during "Descriptive" tasks. New computer applications can then be written which improve the visualization, accessability, and integration of the needed data.
  • Overlapping data exists for CIRS meetings held on 01Feb06, 15Feb06, and 22Feb06, so these meeting records are the area of my current focus.
  • Main challenges are inconsistent time recording schemes between coding done by the two research teams. This has been overcome by manually reviewing the original films and Noldus codings of the meetings.

• Code CIRS Interactive Workspace Meeting from May 10th using the artifact-based coding scheme.
• Code CIRS Value Engineering Meetings from April 12th and April 5th using the artifact-based coding scheme.
• Assign a form and type of information representation to each file that has been uploaded into Buzzsaw. Results are attached below.
• Create CIRS meeting database that logs meeting dates, attendees (with cross-reference to signed consent forms), agenda items, researchers present, available video, and coding done. This database is posted on the main ARTIFACT page.
• Review CIRS meeting notes and make a list of all artifacts used by meeting participants. Arrange this list in a 'taxonomy' for future reference. This taxonomy is attached below.
• Create duplicate project database using same organization and files as Buzzsaw. Not yet posted on Wiki because the compressed file is 700 MB. Will consult with Sheryl upon her return.
