3rd-Year Major Streams

Computer Science Professor Dr. Kevin Leyton-Brown teaching 3rd-year multi-agent systems

These streams are just suggestions to students majoring in Computer Science who want to select their upper level courses in a specific area. The areas shown below are not official program options. However, the list shows some popular areas and streams of courses that are relevant to each area.

Math/Stat: MATH/STAT 302*, MATH 307, 308, 312, 322, 340

Notes:

When you decide to take a course, make sure you have the prerequisites first. For instance, CPSC 444 requires CPSC 319, or some co-op terms.

(*) If you plan to take MATH/STAT 302, in the second year, you should take STAT 200 instead of STAT 241. You cannot get credit for both MATH/STAT 302 and STAT 241.
