Dr. Alan Mackworth — professor emeritus with UBC Computer Science — has been studying AI since the 1970s. He’s served as president of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence and held a Canada Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence from 2001 to 2014.
