STAR-AI (Statistical-Relational AI) Reading Group

STAR-AI (previously known as FOPI - First Order Probabilistic Inference) is a research reading group organized by some members of the Laboratory of Computational Intelligence in the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

Meetings are usually held on Mondays. All are welcome.

If you are planning to attend our meetings, you should sign up to the mailing list, where the papers and schedules will be announced. Just send an email to majordomo@cs.ubc.ca with no subject and with the command "subscribe fopi-rg" as the body of your message. To unsubscribe, send a similar email with the command "unsubscribe fopi-rg".

Discussions at STAR-AI cover a wide range of AI topics concerning modeling, reasoning and decision making under uncertainty, probabilistic graphical models, first order relational models, stochastic planning, ontologies and more.

You can access past and future readings by going to delicious.com/FirstOrderProbabilisticInference. For archives of papers before 2008 see the FOPI Archive (2003-2008).
