This is a unique opportunity where you will lead the delivery & operations of SaaS-based business apps and tools for the STEMCELL group of companies. This includes leading a technology service team to select, maintain, support and improve cloud applications and services used by STEMCELL group staff, and maintain a technology roadmap supporting STEMCELL’s business needs.

This technical leadership role is suited to an individual with strong direct experience managing SaaS-based business applications, and a track record of empowering business customers with high performing collaboration services using modern cloud-based tools and practices.

This role partners with other technology and business leaders to build and deliver scalable and secure technology services, and is expected to be a strong voice within the IS leadership team to help shape the vision for technology and deliver technology services required for business success.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a technology service team responsible for SaaS-based collaboration and productivity tools including Google Workspaces, Atlassian Confluence/Jira and Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Partner with business and technology teams to deliver and maintain solutions and tools to meet their specific needs.  This responsibility includes designing and launching new capabilities using SaaS-based technologies

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of your technology portfolio, including maintenance of a technology roadmap, and engaging with your customers to deliver on their current and future needs

  • Drive training & adoption of existing technologies to enable your customers with digital skills

  • Own and lead the resolution of all incidents, problems and bugs that may arise within your teams. Partner with other IS teams as needed to prioritize and fix root issues

  • Lead development of design & operating standards for your technology portfolio

 

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • 6+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years of leadership experience as a team lead or manager in an enterprise environment

  • Demonstrated experience leading delivery, operation and support of SaaS-based applications or services.  Certifications in this space are preferred

  • Strong hands-on technical experience, including recent work with cloud services.  Our technical leaders are technical - you will be expected to dig deep alongside your team

  • Strong understanding of IT, product or service delivery management best practices

  • Demonstrated technical solutions and technical architecture capabilities
