Major Dugald Thomson will present on his engineering career and research in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), and a CAF recruiter will give a brief presentation on STEM-related careers in the CAF. Major Thomson is a CAF officer and underwater acoustics specialist based in Victoria, BC, who studied electrical engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada and later specialized in ocean acoustics.
The session is aimed at engineering and computer science students, and all students interested in learning more about opportunities in the CAF are welcome.
