Abstract:

What can Vancouver technology companies do to attract—and keep—women in leadership roles? How can women already in middle and senior positions sustain their career trajectory in high-pressure jobs? Join C-suite panelists from SAP, EA Sports, ACL and other companies as they share their personal stories—and business insights—as professionals who have successfully ‘leaned into’ IT’s glass ceiling.

Today there is much focus on getting more young women and girls into technology.  Filling the pipeline.  That is undoubtedly important.  But not more important than finding and keeping middle and senior women in the technology work force.  This panel will delve into how to find and keep experienced women - and also help middle and senior women to know what to do to continue growing, get those promotions and “lean in”.  This panel discussion will help both companies looking to improve diversity in the more senior ranks and women wanting to progress their career through the proverbial glass ceiling.

Thank you to Tasktop Technologies for sponsoring the event!
