Eclipse Hackathon
Announcing the first-ever Eclipse hackathon!
Eclipse Foundation is holding a party to improve the Eclipse ecosystem, one of the largest and most vibrant open-source communities. Their goal is for all attendees to find coding joy: to work on a real problem faced by an Eclipse-based project, successfully create a patch, and submit it by the end of the evening. You will work hand-in-hand with Eclipse project leads and committers who will help to guide you through the process. You will work in groups of 2 or 3, and hope to have enough small-ish bugs and feature requests with enough hands-on support from project veterans that everybody can submit a patch.
For more information and to register, see the hackathon wiki page.
If you are project lead of an Eclipse-based open source project, and you have some bugs that you want hacked on, please contact one of the organizers (see the wiki).
