Endowed Chair in Computer Systems

The Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Vancouver Campus, is seeking candidates with exceptional scientific records in the area of Computer Systems, broadly defined, for a fully endowed chair at the rank of tenured Professor, made possible by a generous donation to the department by David Cheriton, a distinguished Stanford Professor and UBC alumnus. Tenure-Track Faculty Positions

The Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver) invites applications for up to 6 positions to be filled at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor. Sessional Lecturer Positions

The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, invites applications from outstanding individuals for teaching undergraduate courses within the Department of Computer Science. The positions are open for individuals with a proven track record in teaching and education.  Details.

Full Time 12-Month Lecturer Positions

The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, invites applications for one or more full-time 12-month Lecturer positions within the Department of Computer Science.  Such positions typically involve teaching five courses—for example, two in the spring, one in the summer, and two in the fall—and some administrative duties.The Department will consider applicants with previous teaching experience in a post-secondary setting.   A Master’s or equivalent in Computer Science or related areas is required, with a strong preference to applicants who possess a PhD.  Details.
