You stand at the gateway to the homepage of Warren Cheung, seeker of knowledge.
My M.Sc. research area was Computational Geometry, focusing on Pursuit-Capture problems under the supervision of Will Evans. My primary interests include algorithms and bioinformatics and my other interests include physics (classical mechanics), mathematics (calculus), microbiology (immunology), swing dancing, boardgaming and anything(everything). I'm always interested in learning more, so always feel free to talk to me about your interests - more often than not you'll pique my interest. Challenges are a particular affront to my self-delusion of omnipotence and so are of particular interest.
These days (Sept 2005-Present) I am out at the Centre for Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics next to the BC Children's Hospital as a Ph.D. student in Bioinformatics co-supervised by Wyeth. W. Wasserman and B.F. Francis Ouellette. I am working on predicting gene-disease relationships via profiles based on biomedical literature evidence.
