A common complaint about British Columbia, and perhaps Canada as a whole, is its supposed lack of good beer. This, as I hope to convince you, is simply not the case. British Columbia has a large amount of craft breweries and brewpubs that together brew beers in a wide variety of styles. In fact there are so many craft brewers in BC that I wouldn’t be able to present them in a half hour. Instead I will focus on craft brewers in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, along with a few quirks about the local beer scene in BC.
