UDLS

Language isolates are natural languages with no demonstrable genealogical (or “genetic”) relationship with other languages. I’ll be giving a general overview of a few of some of the isolates that I find interesting. I’ll also talk about spontaneous language generation, and why it’s silly to assume that all languages are related, however distantly.
