This is a 1D slice of an image from top to bottom, like a kind of 2D MRI machine (X-ray is kind of a misnomer). Deducing the image reveals it as the UBC Engineers' beloved CAIRN (or THECAIRN).

This puzzle was inspired by an old Flash game, Z-Rox, as well the puzzle Diagnosus from the 2013 MUMS Puzzle Hunt.
