About me
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher working for Disney Research, Zurich. Before joining
Disney I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia.
There, I was a member of the Imager Lab and I worked under the supervision of
Dr. Michiel van de Panne.
My research focuses on the development of new methods for generating human and animal
motion, with an emphasis on models of motor control, physics-based simulation and motion
planning. Direct applications of my research extend to character animation, robotics and
biomechanics.
