Call for Participation

We invite undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in database research to apply to attend the workshop. Funding is available from SIGMOD to cover the cost of registration. Additional funding is available from CRA-W/CDC to cover the cost of travel, lodging, and other meals during the workshop.

Note that the goal of this workshop is to encourage female and minorities to obtain a PhD. Anyone may apply to the workshop, but priority will be given to women and under-represented minorities.

The deadline for applications is March 31. Selected participants will be notified by April 21.
