Research Interests
I work with the Natural Language Processing group at UBC's LCI lab.
Our research is in summarizing conversations and sentiment analysis.
I am also interested in applications of machine learning, bioinformatics,
and information visualization.
Community Involvement
I'm on the executive of the
Computer Science Graduate Student Society as VP Admin/Finance. You can find information about our activities on our website. We encourage your feedback on improving the grad student experience.
I'm also a student representative on the Computer Science Department's Communications committee and a councillor to the Graduate Student Society (GSS).
This year, I'm attending the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC) with other UBC CS women.
