¡°A Test Bed for Developing Intelligent Synthetic Characters¡±

Summary

In this paper, authors described a test bed for pursuing research in developing human-level AI characters within computer games. Currently, it is implemented as an interface between Soar and an external game environment. It supports three low-level interfaces to meet different kinds of requirement.

 

Discussion

1.Is there any other way to achieve this?

  Yes, there are a lot of ways- JAVA, RPC, DCOM. However, considering the performance problems, it seems that the current solution is          reasonable.

2.systematic evaluation of the system

   How valid is the system are the evaluations. take 3 models into consideration.
