CPSC 511: Paper Reviews
What does a good paper review look like?
- It is short: 1 or 2 pages
- It addresses these key issues and questions:
- what is the problem addressed by this paper?
- what is the core of the proposed solution?
- what are the main claims made by the authors?
- what are the key novel contributions compared to related /
prior work?
- how are the claims and solution validated or evaluated?
- It is critical: it identifies points in favor as well as against
the paper, and points out potential weaknesses in the arguments,
solution and evaluation presented in the paper.
Your paper reviews will be evaluated based on how well they meet the
above criteria.
