Interleaving vs. Identical Sampling Patterns
for all Pixels
Part a) of the following figure shows the
standard Accumulation Buffer approach with identical sampling patterns
for all pixels. Part b) shows the 2x2 interleaving. The Fourier transforms
(right) demonstrate the significantly reduced probability of aliasing for
interleaved sampling.
